How Do I Take Care of My Bra?

How Do I Take Care of My Bra?

Hand-Wash Only

Especially bras which feature delicate lace or wire, rough machine washes have been known to damage your bra beyond wear. Here’s a handy time-saving alternative if you cannot handwash.

Take it into the shower with you, run some warm water and scrub the waistband (particularly the under-arm area) with some detergent, or regular handsoap. Gently pat down, being careful not to twist the wire, and lay flat to dry

Store carefully

Have a dedicated drawer for your bras and fold them in half at the center gore, careful that the hooks don’t snag on any lace detailing.

For any moulded cup, we wrap them up by pushing in one of the cups but please don’t store this way. Each cup should be naturally resting out and laid flat.

Wear carefully

When putting on your bra, if you are unable to do the clasp at the back and require hooking at the front, be sure not to twist the wires by flipping them. This stretches the fabric and causes the wires to bend, leading to a shorter life for your bra.
