Capri Lingerie has been an iconic family business for over 70 years.  It was founded by Mrs Edith DeVermond back in 1954, a trailblazer for women who prided herself in excellent customer service.  Capri has been a traditional visit for mothers bringing their daughters for their first bra fitting and it still continues to happen in 2026.

Capri Lingerie has had 3 other owners since Mrs De Vermond and in July 2025, it was bought by a mother and daughter team, Heidi and Amber, who live locally. Capri has a beautiful and loyal staff who love serving the community and keeping this iconic store running.

Capri Lingerie has a passion for correct fittings and as experienced corsetieres, we know the importance of wearing a correctly fitted bra.  We pride ourselves on taking into account the whole shape, not just your bust measurements.  We stock a range of bras and styles to suit different breast tissue, and we are trained in fitting breast forms after breast surgery as well as post-surgical care.  

We are a safe space for LGBTQ+ individuals and have fittings rooms available for everyone.

Capri Lingerie also offers an in home (nursing or private) fitting service for a $25 callout and fitting fee.  We offer a complimentary measure to anyone as we believe that bra education should never be kept a closely guarded secret.
